Chamaerops Humilis is known as the Mediterranean fan palm for good reason. It triggers memories of sun-drenched beaches and glorious drives along the coastal roads of Mediterranean Spain and Italy.
It tends to grow in clumps of 3 or more trunks, often with a taller, central trunk, surrounded by smaller ones.
Chamaerops Humilis is cold hardy down to around -10 degrees C. It provides good value and a dramatic statement in any planted area.
