Phoenix Dactylifera Palm Trees - Date Palm - MULTI TRUNK

PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA palms always add a touch of the exotic to any setting.

They are used extensively in Morocco for production of dates and in other countries, they are often planted to give height, shape and colour, when used for landscaping.

PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA always look vigorous and bursting with life. The dark green leaves, at 3m – 5 m in length, form a perfect backdrop for under-planting with smaller palms and plants.

The leaves of the PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA maintain their colour at all times throughout the year and their classic arching invokes a Mediterranean atmosphere.

The taller sizes of PHOENIX DACTYLIFERA are in great demand by commercial growers and designers of large, landscaping projects, but even the smaller trunks retain their classic shape and add greatly to any planting programme.

At -10 degrees C, according to Wikipedia, they are fairly cold hardy.

For example: Multitrunks of 2 trunks of 100 centimetres, plus a third trunk of 200 centimetres = 400 centimetres in total.
